Relative Elevation Surveys

When investigating building movement, a relative elevation survey can be an important component. Although a relative elevation survey alone cannot determine whether or not something has moved, in can be used as part of a broader investigation to determine where foundation movement is likely to have occurred. When combined with a site-specific geotechnical investigation, it can be used to determine the potential for future movement. Nelson Jones has a number of Ziplevels (something like a digital water level) and other elevation measurement equipment to perform a relative elevation surveys.
